Dog and Monkey

DOG
Zoey can say many many words.. dog, cat, hi, happy, cheese, help, stuck, drink, up, nigh nigh (night night), duck, dird (bird), tree, good, num num when eating something she likes, bath, apple, arm, eyes, shoes, toons for cartoons, book, toy..

But, this past week, EVERYTHING is a DOG! We are trying to correct her, but shes like her daddy and has selective hearing! haha! I'm sure its a phase!
MONKEY

We are debating changing her crib into toddler bed. Last night, she figured out how to turn the lights on and off from bed, so I had to move her, crib and all! Shes also starting to climb everything. She can get on and off the couch alone, but sometimes uses the floor rocker or a pillow for an extra boost. She gets in her toy stroller and finds herself stuck. She has also been stuck standing on the bottom rail of her crib when trying to scale it from the floor. Most times she can get up, but not down from the places she gets stuck. She has no fear!

On a side note, Eric and Zoey gave me a great Birthday! They picked me out a glider rocker and ottoman. We had brunch with my friend Teressa and Zs friend Jenna at Ihop. Then, we went to the park to play with Jason, Julie and Rita. That night, the Cahoons came over for a steak dinner and some drinks. Eric got my favorite wine. The Cahoons stayed over and Eric made us breakfast the next morning. It was so much fun! They are both great with Zoey too.. can't wait for them to have kids!

June Bug

Here are a few photos of Zoey during the month of June. These are just a couple of my favorites and until I learn more about blogging I may only get a few up at a time.

Here she is being her cute little self with a huge flower bow in her hair! She lets me put them in, but they don't always last! Her bangs are down to her nose now, so I usually clip them back to keep them out of her eyes.

Baking cookies is fun! I always turn the oven light on now so she can see whats inside. She was excited waiting for these to come out!

This is the trike that Nana and Papa VanDenBerghe picked out for Zoey for her Birthday. Toys R Us was out of them until last weekend! She likes to sit on it and be pushed around the house, but needs help getting on. She can get off alone. Her feet don't reach the pedals just yet, but it won't take long!

So Much For The Monday Emails...

Well, I still have yet to figure out what is wrong with my email. I have felt so guilty for not sending emails and photos out the last few weeks - you have no idea! A few girls I know use this (or similar) blogs, so I'm going to give it a try. You may not get to see as many photos as you would in an email, but this way you can look when ever you want to. I will try to still work on it every Monday like before, but since I am new to this "blogging" stuff, it may take me a bit to get used to it. I had those emails down to a science *sigh*... Such is life I guess!
